    James Mason is wonderful English actor of American and British films. He was born at Yorkshire, attended the college of Cambridge and Marlborough, where he exposed acting as a lark and uncontrolled the planned career as the architect. Following his work in the stock companies, he then joined Old Vic under the supreme guidance of Tyrone Guthrie and Alexander Korda, who offered Mason a role in their small film in the year 1933, but then fired him some days in shooting. However, James Mason remained in theatre thereby becoming the prominent actor at stage, in the mean time getting their small then rapidly huge roles in the "quota quickies", and minor films are made to offer the laws of accommodate mandating a specific percentage of the films shown in the British-made. At the same time the talent of Mason for playing the protagonists of decidedly hard-bitten and melancholy stripe also brought him from such small films to the position as Britain's key film stars.
