    Oswald Morris starts in his homeland as "clap-boy", then the first or second camera assistant and camera operator, first in the Fountain Studios in Wembley in 1930, then after World War II (during which he used to Royal Air Force) Pinewood Studios. He became director of photography on the set of Golden Salamander (1950) and finished his career (he shared between the United Kingdom and the United States) in 1982 with Dark Crystal. In particular, it will be director of photography John Huston on eight films. And include its contribution to a French film in 1954, Mr. Ripois.  Besides several Oscar nominations for Best Cinematography, he wins for Fiddler on the Roof (1971). Oswald Morris, OBE, born 22 November 1915 in Ruislip (former Middlesex, England) is an English director of photography.  Member of the BSC, it is the president from 1960 to 1962.
