    Robert Duvall

     

    Born on January 5, 1931, Robert Selden Duvall is an American actor and director. He has had four wives and is currently married to Luciana Pedraza whom he married in the year 2005. He has an Academy Award, four Golden Globe Awards, one BAFTA and two Emmy Awards in his name. he is widely known for his work in Apocalypse Now, True Grit, The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, The Conversation, Joe Kidd, etc.

    He started off his career by materializing in theatres and then moving into television and films. He landed most of his roles that he is known for in 1970s. He is involved in charity work with his wife Pedraza. He has also founded a production company that is known as ‘Butcher’s Run Films’. On September 18, 2003, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was also awarded a National Medal of Arts in the year 2005 by the then President, George W. Bush at the White House.
