  • Facts of life

Marshall Bruce, born on October 17, 1972 is a Rapper. He is also well known as a record producer, a songwriter, and an actor. Originally, his name was M&M and he changed it later to Eminem. When he was 14 years old, he competed against other MCs in local clubs from Detroit, as a battle rapper. He was among the very few white rappers that got on the US charts using a controversial view of the horror core genre. Together with his mother, he wandered through several states before remaining in Detroit when he was 12 years old. He started rapping while he was in high school, but he dropped out when he was in the ninth grade and joined the groups called, the New Jacks, D12, and Basement Productions. His first album was released in 1997 with the help of FBT independent labels. The album was not received well, and Eminem was compared to other rappers like AZ and Nas.
