    Rip Torn landed on earth on 6th February, 1931 at Temple in Texas. He was named as "Rip" as it is the family name, which was taken by the generations of the Torn men and even imparted on Elmore by father, moreover who was even known as "Rip". Torn also attended the Texas A & M along with University of Texas, in which he majored in the animal husbandry. Enormously naive when Rip was young, Moreover, Torn was hitchhiked to the Hollywood with an idea of becoming the movie star then he wished to make adequate money to buy the ranch. However, success does not come in just overnight, as rip had planned, and Torn even work various odd jobs at the time occasionally being the cast in TV roles. He also made the feature film as a debut in the Baby Doll of Elia Kazan in the year 1956 in small part.
