    Jane Horrocks, a stage, screen and televiosn actress, voice artist, musician and singer, born (18 Jan 1964) in Lancashire, were trained at Oldham college and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She started her career with Royal Shakespeare Company and was critically noticed for her performance in the film Life is Sweet. Her performance in West End play was an award winning performance in which she sang all the songs. Impressed with her mimicry, Cartwright wrote the rise and fall of little voice for her and she was nominated for Best Performance. Her role earned several nominations and awards. In 2000, she recorded singing in the style of different Divas. Her voiceovers were used on Chicken Run (2000), Christmas Carol: The Movie (2001), Corps Bride (2005), Garfield: A tail of two kitties (2006) and Tinker Bell (2008). She took lead role in Gracie, a BBC production in 2009. She appeared as a contestant in the Great sport relief Bake off on BBC2.
